What we collect
Only what a feature you use needs.

We never receive your card details: payments go through Google Play or the App Store. We do not run facial recognition and do not use “My photo” to identify you. We do not sell your data and show no ads.
How your photos are handled
Storage
Your photos and garment details are stored in a space reserved for your account, with Google Firebase, in the European Union. A copy stays on your phone so the app works offline.
On-demand processing
When you start a cutout, a garment recognition or a try-on, the photo involved (and “My photo” for a try-on) goes through our servers, then to an image-processing provider that sends the result back. These providers act on our behalf, only to produce that result.
Our servers do not keep images sent for processing. Only the result you keep is saved in your space.
If you fill in a garment by hand, or the app cuts out the photo directly on your phone, no image is sent to a processing provider.
Why we are allowed to
- Providing the service you use: closet, outfits, sync, the try-ons you ask for, subscription.
- Consent: location access (phone permission), diagnostics and statistics where they require your agreement, launch emails you ask us for. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Legitimate interest: service security, abuse prevention (usage limits), support replies.
- Legal obligation: keeping some information when the law requires it.
Who with
Only with providers that help us run Dressing, bound by contract and limited to that use:
- Google Firebase: sign-in, database, photo storage, app servers. Data stored in the European Union.
- Image-processing providers: cutout, garment recognition, try-on generation. Some are located outside the European Union, notably in the United States.
- Open-Meteo: weather service. It receives coordinates or a city name, without any account ID.
- Google Play, the App Store and a subscription management provider, once Dressing+ opens.
- Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics for Firebase, if these tools are enabled in the app.
The named, up-to-date list of our providers is available on request. We may also share data with authorities when the law requires it.
Outside the European Union
When data is processed outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on a European Commission adequacy decision (including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or on its standard contractual clauses.
How long
- Closet, “My photo”, outfits, try-ons: as long as your account exists. Deleted within 30 days of your deletion request.
- Images sent for processing: not kept by our servers after processing. Our providers only keep them for the time set in their contractual commitments, usually for security and for a limited period.
- Usage counters: 24 months at most after the last action.
- Support conversations: 3 years after the last message.
- Copy on your phone: until you delete the item or the app.
Your rights
At any time you can ask to access, correct, erase or port your data, restrict or object to its processing, or withdraw your consent.
Write to hello@getdressing.app, from your account’s address if you can. We reply within one month. If you feel your rights are not respected, you can complain to your country’s data protection authority; in France, the CNIL.
Delete everything
In the app, you can delete a garment, an outfit or a try-on at any time, and replace or remove “My photo”.
To delete your account and all its content, write to hello@getdressing.app with the subject “Delete my account”, from the account’s address. We delete the account, photos, outfits, try-ons and related counters within 30 days, then confirm. Uninstalling the app erases the local copy but not the account. Details on the Support page.
Security
Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Each account can only reach its own space. Access to our providers stays on our servers, never in the app.
Minors
Dressing is not intended for children under 15. If you believe a child has shared data with us, write to us and we will delete it.
This website
getdressing.app uses no cookies, no audience measurement and no fonts loaded from a third party. Your language choice is kept in your browser. The host (Google Firebase Hosting) processes your IP address and browser details to serve the pages and keep them secure.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top. For a significant change, we also let you know in the app.
